| On behalf of the Way to Go Board of Directors and staff, I wish to extend our most sincere gratitude for your overwhelming support during yesterday’s Great Community Give! Your support got us across the finish line and will leave an incredible impact on the clients we serve today and into the future. Collectively, 103 unique donors raised $13,175 to support low-income workers in Harrisonburg-Rockingham with essential transportation services. Yesterday’s total giving exceeded last year’s mark by nearly $1,000 (not including cash prizes). We are so very thankful for your support and generosity! Over the past five years of the Great Community Give, your continued support of Way to Go and other nonprofit organizations (including many close partners of Way to Go) has generated $5 million to benefit the Harrisonburg-Rockingham community. INCREDIBLE! In the coming weeks and months, we look forward to sharing with you the impact your support is having on local households eager to access job training programs, employment opportunities, and other necessary destinations required for daily living.
