Thank you for making an incredible impact in 2020!
The year 2020 certainly brought significant challenges to all corners of the Harrisonburg-Rockingham community, and well beyond. Low-income workers were perhaps the most severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Many lost their jobs as businesses closed, or became ill as a result of being employed on the front lines of an essential business. Demand for our transportation services soared as local families tried to keep up with mounting household bills and declining income.
Thanks to the generous support from YOU – our donors, grantors, sponsors, partners, and vendors – nearly 200 low-income households in Harrisonburg-Rockingham were able to access food, safe shelter, medical care and essential services during a time of great disruption and uncertainty. Your support helped to ensure these households maintained their transportation access – a critical component to their ability to return to the workforce.
